John Harney, proprietor of the historic White Hart Inn of Salisbury, CT, began serving his distinctive blends to his guests in 1983—blends he learned from a retired english tea crafter, Stanley Mason, years beforehand.

John could have never imagined the growth.

Now based in Millerton NY with a bottling plant in Hudson NY, we source, blend, and package our tea from start to finish. Michael Harney is our master tea buyer/blender, and Paul Harney oversees operations.
